Hearing Aid Selection and Fitting

Better communication and living through better hearing.

Alliance Hearing and Balance Center recommends a recent hearing test when you are considering your need for hearing aids. The Doctors of Audiology will help you understand the nature of your hearing loss and if amplification is an appropriate option.

Any decision about hearing aids is an important and sometimes complicated one. A hearing aid evaluation at Alliance Hearing Center is a one hour appointment. At that time, different hearing aid options will be explored. This may include a demonstration with the actual hearing aids. Alliance Hearing Center wants you to make an educated decision about your hearing aid purchase. Because of this, we encourage family members or close friends to participate in the process.

Our office provides a wide choice of digital hearing aid designs carefully selected from two manufacturers, Widex and Oticon. Our goal is to help you find the best solution to your hearing loss that fits your personal needs and budget.

Follow up visits are key to the successful use of hearing aids. At Alliance Hearing Center, once your hearing aid is fit, weekly “fine tuning” visits will insure successful adaptation to new sounds. Alliance feels so strongly about the need for these visits, during your first year all re-check visits are done without co-pay.

Alliance Hearing Center offers financing options, cash discounts, and a money back trial period of 30-60 days.

DISCOUNTS

  • BCBS and United HealthCare now offers its members $700 towards the cost of any hearing aid.  Discuss the details with your healthcare insurer or one of our audiologists.
  • Previous hearing aid owners, if purchased at Alliance ENT, can receive a 10% discount on the purchase of any new hearing aid(s).
  • One year of free batteries for your hearing aids.
  • Hearing tests are "free."  This is a service that is usually covered by your health insurance.  Hearing aid dealers offer this as a "benefit", but, in fact, they are not permitted by law to charge for hearing tests.

You may stop by our office or call 1-800-648-4327.

Or, send the old hearing aid in a small box or padded envelope to:
